FETA successfully handled the Learning Tour of 38 Architecture students and accompanying teachers of Mapua Institute of Technology to Seoul, Korea last November 27-30.
The 4-day 3-night tour included visits not only to Seoul’s popular tourists attractions, such as the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the N-Seoul Tower, but also visits to the Architecture school of Chung Ang University and Seoul-based architectural firm Archeum Architects. The travel arrangements which FETA handled for the tour included Air Passage, Accommodations, Meals and the Tour Logistics. This is the second Learning Tour group travel requirement from Mapua which FETA handled; the first being a similar Learning Tour to Tokyo, Japan last June.
FETA received the "Outstanding Partner 2015" award from the Korea Tourism Organization ( KTO ) Manila office for its efforts and performance to promote and sell Korea as a destination for leisure, business, learning and MICE ( Meetings, Incentive, Conventions and Exhibitions ) travel to the Philippine market this 2015. The award was given during the annual Korea Travel Awards event held last Dec 02 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati. “We are truly honoured and humbled at the same time by this award, already our third from KTO Manila for three consecutive years, which recognizes our efforts to push Korea as destination for Filipino travellers. Korea is a special destination for us is and is close to our hearts. This award motivates us to work even harder to bring more visitors to that wonderful country”, say Mr Oliver Sison, FETA’s General Manager who received the award together with Ms Nikki Clemente, FETA’s Product Management & Marketing Head, and Ms. Vanessa Gile, FETA’s Sales Head.
